Sometimes I see the world as spots of living colors, shapes and lines. There are no specific objects or even sounds, the edges and borders are not clear, not always defined. The shapes and lines float seamlessly.  There is a hidden harmony with its mysterious rhythm, proportions and dynamism. The distinction between the reality and abstractoion is bearly perceptible.  All  that seems to create stories about our world. I see those stories everywere.

Imaginarium There are stories of trees and rocks. Trunks and brunches of the trees, just through overcoming adversities of environment and circumstances, grew into mystical creatures of our dreams and nightmares. They are the most dramatic monuments to the story of life. They are reaching for the sun, with all the overpowering desire for life, fighting against and succumbing to the force of wind and erosion. The ugliness of death and decay is only temporary, as it is followed by rebirth in the eternal circle of life. Trees seem to speak to us in their own sign language full of endless messages. Do they tell us their stories or do we just see our own stories in them?

Landscapes There are stories of landscapes. Landscape stories are very different. In fact, most of the time, it is more of an experience then a story. Sometimes, when captured in a painting, it is no more than a record. But on occasions it becomes a window out of boxed up experience of our existence. It expands and opens up interiors of our houses and, if we are very lucky, those of our minds. It connects us with the vastness of the outdoors, with no limitations whatsoever. Sometimes, it makes this window open up into the world and you almost feel a summer breeze of the park, a wet sharp smell of spring rain or the heat of Indian summer. You don’t need or want to think. It is more to do with sensual experience then intellectual comprehension.

Sketches Sketches and photographs are just my way to see and discover the world. They make you see things, not just look at them.

Still life There are stories of still life The objects, colors, spaces and voids between them gravitate toward each other as if desiring to reach some perfect balance. It is almost as if they themselves posses the consciousness and the power of making decision, creating their own destiny. It is as if they were in the most complex relationship with each other.
